Design Team Services

Park Valley Huddersfield is being supported by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund to create new office space in a former Mill. We are seeking to appoint a Design Team to deliver the final project on the site – a £2.3m refurbishment of a Grade 2 former mill, to be known as The Mending Rooms.

The intention is to appoint a single consultant to provide the following services: Architecture and Lead Design Consultant, Structural Engineer, Cost Consultant and BREEAM Advisor. Completed tender submissions must be received by 10 am on 3rd December 2018.

There is to be an opportunity for tenderers to visit site between 10 a.m and 3 p.m on 8th November 2018 or 10 a.m to 3 p.m on the 19th November. Requests for clarification of any matters within the tender documents must be received by no later than 4pm on 29th November.

Construction Works - Main Contractor

Park Valley Huddersfield is being supported by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund to create new office space in a former Mill. We are seeking to appoint a Main Contractor to undertaken the refurbishment and construction works for the final project on the site – a refurbishment of a Grade 2 former mill, to be known as The Mending Rooms.

The intention is to appoint a single contractor for the project estimated to be between £2.0m - £2.1m though a two stage competitive process. Interested parties are required to submit a detailed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire by no later than 11am on 5th December 2018. Following evaluation, it is intended that 3-4 companies will be invited to submit detailed tenders. The works are intended to take place between June 2019 and June 2020.

The PQQ can be obtained by sending an email to richard.jones@addspecailistsco.uk requests for clarification of any matters within the PQQ documents must be received by no later than 4pm on 1st December.
